The event was graced by MP for Marine Parade, Dr Faimah Lateef. We received an International visitor from Indonesia, Mr Ilham Ikhlas, the Obama look-alike. Bishan ITE and Ngee Ann Polytechnic students took part in organising the event.

An charity event by the Muhammadiyah Events Management. MWH volunteers helped by distributing the flyers on MWH fund-raising effort.

27 Jun 09 Parenting seminar at the Katong Community Centre
The parents/guardians of the children of MWH were invited to the talk by professional speakers on
‘Good Parenting’. All parents were briefed on MWH ‘Wish For Home 2009’ and encouraged to
participate as volunteers in the project.

10 Jul 09 Graffiti presentation by well-known UK artist, Md Ali aka Ali@Aerosol at MWH new premise The British Council (Singapore), local graffiti artists, Mediterranean Visual Arts Club (MVAC) and the students from the Singapore Management University (SMU) attended the session.
